Welcome to Ms. Erikson's World of Learning!

This is a picture of me doing my very fist teaching job, teaching developmental gymnastics to kids. In this picture I am helping a student do a backwards somersault. I loved helping kids learn new physical skills and watching their confidence in themselves and their abilities grow. I spent three years after this working in theater education combining my love of theater with my love of teaching and encouraging children to explore and develop their personal creativity.

As a 3rd grade teacher, I am excited to guide my students as they explore the world around them through reading, writing, science, math and social studies. . I am very curious about the world around me which is one reason why I love being a teacher.
